Another Onion

Another 'Onion Plays Football' card. This time I've decoupaged the stamped image to give it more depth. The image has been coloured with ProMarkers; The background has been stamped with the football stamp that accompanies the set as do the Trophy and Football Boots that are used to decorate the inside:

Busy, Busy...But Not Craft-Busy....

Well what a busy week and weekend! Most of my evenings this week have been spent studying as I'm a bit behind with my course at the moment. I had a day off on Friday which was supposed to have been a full crafting day bit thanks to a house viewing at 5.30 half the day was spent doing housework [boooo!] I did get to make some wedding stationary samples though for a friend at work's daughter's wedding [Order of Service and Place/Table Cards]though - just need to hope they like one of my designs now! [fingers x-d!] Saturday was MOT day for my car - only failed on windscreen wipers so less than £50 to pay in total for which my craft-allowance is very grateful, ie it still exists for the next few months!! Finally today has mainly been spent driving to Cambridge and back with my parents to collect our new dog - kind of bitter-sweet as it's only 2 weeks since we lost our old dog and I still miss him sooo much but it will be nice to have a new four-legged friend around, not that we could ever replace Joon.... So, welcome to the family Ruby Twist! Anyway, I have still got a few cards made this week [not as much time with my new Tilda's as I'd hoped] so pics are below. Finally, a big thank you to all my new followers - it was a big surprise to log on and see I had 19!

Cards!

OK, tantrum over - camera lead was in laptop bag, where it lives, laptop wasn't plugged in properly, hence the charger not connecting....

Anyway, here are a few cards made this weekend and one made a while ago [the Forever Friends 1 one]

Grrrr.....!

So I finally get me all set up on here and now I can't find my camera lead to put on the cards I made at the weekend. AND my laptop charger is playing up again = grrrrrr!!!! Maybe someone is trying to tell me this blogging thing is not for me!

A Few Cards I've Made So Far This Year

Not a Good Start to My Blog...

Oh dear, I'm not making a good start at this having said I'd put some card pics on here and 3 days later they haven't appeared yet - to be fair, I was busy playing on the new DoCrafts website Weds night, had a card to make Thursday and was on a late shift last night! I also decided yesterday that I had once again outgrown my craft storage and NEEDED a new set of shelves so my lovely o/h colloected these from Argos for me yesterday and at 10 o clock last night I was busy building them!!! I think I have finally got everything now rearranged and organised to my liking and can get on with some crafting again - yay!! [Pics of craft room to follow...!]

Anyway, I will now attempt to put a few pics of cards I have made so far this year on here [fingers x-d!]....

Finally.....

Well, after setting this blog up a year ago I have finally got round to doing something with it..... and now I come to writing my first post I don't know what to say!

I suppose I must mention that the main reason I have finally got round to doing something on here is due to the sad loss of our dog, Junior, on Saturday.... Over the last couple of days I haven't really felt like doing much, including going to work, so spent most of my time on the DoCrafts forum and looking at many blogs that people on there have set up which really inspired me to set mine up properly - yay! I am still very much learning with this so please bear with me - I'm not even sure how to follow anyone yet let alone add a link to the thing but I'm sure I'll pick it up quickly - am sure the lovely DC forum people will provide assistance when required :)

Anyway, that's all I have to say now - if I can work out how I'll pop a few pics of some of my cards on here to brighten it up a bit too!!! TTFN
